Crop Circles
This text is about "Crop circles". Crop Circles are areas of cereal or similar crops that have been systematically flattened to form various geometric patterns and later designs were to become increasingly complex. Naturalistic explanations include man-made hoaxes or geological anomalies, while paranormal explanations include formation by UFOs. Crop circles are found in fields, over tree-tops, and in ice and snow. They are mostly often found in wheat or corn fields, but have also been found in oat, rape (canola), and barley. They are a world wide phenomena, highlighted in England since 1970 and spread around the world.
Personal response
In my opinion, Crop circles is a very strange phenomena i have ever heard. Crop circles are not recent, but ancient. I think they are not a hoax and hoaxers could do this. Even though, some enthusiasts argue that some designs have more degree of complexity than humans would be able to easily create in a field at night. However, I hope that the research will bring some new facts in the near future.

Global warming
This text is about The United Nations scientific panel studying and identifies the main cause of the global warming. The last report by the group, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, in 2001, had found that humanity had "likely" played a role.
Personal response
In my opinion, people should concern more of environment because nowadays trees have been decreasing more than the past. This problem causes the greenhouse effect which it makes more consequence such as ice melting from Greenland, snow drop in Argentina, etc. The temperature gets higher than 1 degree since 1990, so everyone should take part in using least of carbon dioxide, methane and recycle things as much as you can for reducing the global warming.

Personal Respone
I choose this book because the interesting of this mystery that’s make me want to find out the truth.
MR.Surat Tharanont ID.1480304730 No.8 Section 9231The Mystery of the Bermuda Triangle
SummaryThis text is about “The Bermuda Triangle” one of the greatest mysteries that no one ever found the real evidence what happened to the area around the southeastern Atlantic coast of the United States. Both aircrafts and ships have all sucked into this area which is noted for a high incidence of unexplained lost. On 5 December 1945, the US Navy took off from Fort Lauderdale for flying over the Atlantic was missing and a large Mariner flying boat also never returned after it was sent to search for the missing aircraft. There is still no explanation of this phenomenon due to the unreliable data.
In my opinion, Bermuda Triangle is the most mysterious story I have ever heard because there is no one would fly or sail across that area after it took life of many crews. Sometimes many situations happen without a trace to find what happened in the past, until today the worst crisis in the earth should be the global warming problems. No matter what will happen to the earth, we should do everything to save all living things as it is one of the most important treasures.

FOGGY LOGIC
Eighty kilometres west of Bangkok is Ratchaburi blessed with abundant natural beauty and mountain scenery that together with its multi-ethnic diversity and warm hospitality pull in tourists all year round, but more so in winter when people travel there to enjoy cool weather and admire the sight of hilltops and valleys covered in layers of fog.Sitting this side of the Tenasserim mountain range that forms a natural border between Thailand and Burma and fed by the Mae Klong and Phachi rivers, the province is a paradise for birders and campers, especially its inner districts like Suan Phueng on the Burmese border.
Our trip began in Suan Phueng with a night spent in tents we pitched atop Huay Khok Moo, a mountain rising 800 metres above sea level, to catch the first rays of the sun next day. In winter, we were told, a sea of fog envelopes the entire valley, but when we woke up that morning _ and it was still dark _ all there was to see was a small white patch hanging over a section of the valley. Naturally we were disappointed, but we persevered waiting for the sun to come up, and when it did what a magnificent sight it was: in a matter of minutes the entire valley was bathed in a puff of white and the view from the mountaintop absolutely breathtaking.
That same afternoon we visited Ban Bowi, a Karen settlement in tambon Tanaosi, some 10 kilometres from our camping site, and spent a good part of our time sampling the local lifestyle before calling on Baan Hom Tien, a shop, where we tried our hands making aromatic candles.
The next day we drove to Wat Pleng district and visited Wat Praharuethai, a magnificent century-old church, also known as the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. For souvenirs we bought Banpleng peanut toffees, an Otop product of the district, at a shop just five minutes drive from the church, and then we were on our way back to Bangkok, covering the distance in slightly over an hour.
(Summary)
Ratchaburi blessed with abundant natural beauty and mountain scenery that together.
(Personal Response)
I think that Ratchaburi interesting province. It's not far from Bangkok. Around province has many mountian so if you want to feel nature enviroment, you can go there. It's the one choice of who love traveling.

The Rose Within
A certain man planted a rose and watered it faithfully and before it blossomed, he examined it.
He saw the bud that would soon blossom, but noticed thorns upon the stem and he thought, "How can any beautiful flower come from a plant burdened with so many sharp thorns? Saddened by this thought, he neglected to water the rose, and just before it was ready to bloom... it died.
So it is with many people. Within every soul there is a rose. The God-like qualities planted in us at birth, grow amid the thorns of our faults. Many of us look at ourselves and see only the thorns, the defects.
We despair, thinking that nothing good can possibly come from us. We neglect to water the good within us, and eventually it dies. We never realize our potential.
Some people do not see the rose within themselves; someone else must show it to them. One of the greatest gifts a person can possess is to be able to reach past the thorns of another, and find the rose within them.
This is one of the characteristic of love... to look at a person, know their true faults and accepting that person into your life... all the while recognizing the nobility in their soul. Help others to realize they can overcome their faults. If we show them the "rose" within themselves, they will conquer their thorns. Only then will they blossom many times over.
summary = A guy planted a rose and was waiting for the flower to open. When he looked at the rose, he saw only the thorns which are ugly and sharp. He did not thing that something beautiful could come from that. A person's soul is just like a rose. Sometimes it takes time for the goodness inside to open up and reveal the beauty inside.
Personal Response: Many people give up too soon or don’t understand the true life. I think it has powerful impact. When people ragged thorns they will remember that with God’s help they can conquer and overcome their weaknesses and then blossom and full potential. It is a great encouragement to seek the rose within each other and in ourselves and by doing that to let it bloom.

Thai military breaked human right
After Thai military drove "Rohingya", Muslim refugees from northern of Myanmar, out of Thai area are by bandaged their bodies. To take them on the ships without food and water then was bound them for the sea to back to Myanmar.
UN asked Thai military for the explanation why in this case because that can make those refugees dead in the sea. The navy of Thai army was transgressing the human right.

My Personal Response:
I believe in the natural right of human. We cannot do that. It was vary cruel because it could make them dead on the ship or other ways. Although Thai navy had to do it by their duty but we can use the grand laws to punish these refugees.

Dark chocolate are mainly notable for the high percentage of cocoa solids. There are many types of dark chocolates. The cocoa content of commercial dark chocolate bars is from 30% (sweet dark) to 70%, 75%, or even above 80% (for really dark bars). Phuket Elephant Conservation
Phuket Elephant Conservation
Siam Safari was the first company to start elephant trekking in Phuket in 1994. Once, an elephant became sick and a vet in Phuket treated it but, having no experience with elephants, he overdosed it and an expert elephant vet from Bangkok had to be flown down to save it. Thailand has very few vets experienced enough at working with elephants and if an elephant becomes very sick the only hospital is in Lamphang in Northern Thailand; at least two days' drive by 10-wheel truck from Phuket.
Mobile Elephant Clinic Project
Siam Safari contacted the Asian Elephant Foundation in Bangkok and asked if they had a mobile elephant clinic. At that time they did not so in 1995 Siam Safari donated 280,000 baht to the Foundation to help them set up a mobile elephant clinic. The clinic came to Phuket and was helpful but the clinic had to cover the whole country and did not come often and could not come immediately in the case of an emergency.
Siam Safari & Dusit Laguna - Joint Elephant Project
A project called 'Ivory belongs on elephants' was launched with the World Wildlife Fund. Schoolchildren checked all tourist shops in Phuket and if they were not selling any ivory products they were given a sticker saying 'Ivory Belongs on Elephants. No Ivory Sold Here.'Reflective elephant leg bands were purchased and given to elephant camps throughout Phuket so they could be seen at night on the road.
Siam Safari's Mobile Elephant Clinic Project
Siam Safari recruited its own specialist elephant vet Dr. Somchai to take care of its own elephants in Phuket and Surat Thani. Also, in his spare time Dr. Somchai has treated many elephants at other camps in Phuket, Phang Nga, Krabi and Surat Thani.
This text is about Siam Safari, the first company in Phuket that set up for help the elephant when it was sick.Because Phuket is far from the hospital and has very few vets experienced enough. The lost of elephants were caused of Siam Safari constructed. The Siam Safari awarenesses an important of elephant and wants everybody participate in his company. So he gets idea to creates 3 project. There are Mobile Elephant Clinic Project,Siam Safari&Dusit Laguna-Jpint Elephant Project and Siam Safari's Mobile Elephant Clinic Project.
In my opinion,I think it's the best company that I have seen. They are Thais and want to conserve those elephants but we are Thais too.Why don't we interest this problem.Elephant is the symbol of Thailand. When foreign think of Thailand, they think of elephant.Because they think it's Thailand's heart. But now,you are ignoring your heart?
On the other hand, this is the way that Siam Safari is reminding Thai people to think about this problem. And i think it's the first step to the next best way.

Learning in context
Context gives meaning
Im my opinion . one of most important things for a teacher to do is to teach language in a meaningful context. If students can relate to what is being taught, then learning efficiency can be increased.
On the recent trip with my family to Croston House Children's Home in Lamphum. I was able to witness how English has been integrated into the everyday life of children living in a children's home.
Not all homes are run this way. How ever, that would probably have some thing to do with many years Glenn Croston has spent in the British Army and the Metropolitan Police Service .
During my stay, I watched Glenn as he spoke to the children in Thai and English. Many of his instructions to the children were given in English, especially when he wanted children to adorn their shoes and also when he wanted litter and toys put away.
Saravut Riyong, aka " Lucky " , is a child who came to home when he was four months old. He is only two-and-a-half years old now , but he is able to understand such instructions in English ( probably due to his dropping the most rubbish as well as running around barefoot at every available opportunity). What is good for Lucky must surely be good for everyone else. I believe that Lucky understood the instructions because they are relevant to him. He can relate to the order as Glenn is his father figure and because the instructions has been spoken in English ( many times before ).
so he understand what to do .
Lateral thinking
The vast majority of these children had no English language experience at all. This gives me some hope with my quest for primary school teachers of English in Thailand. What if we apply this method in the primary school classroom ? Could we use English instructions in the classroom, too?
Many teachers of English do this already. However, I wonder how many primary school teachers of English in rural areas are able to cope with this ? Students would, over a period of time learn classroom instructions as they tend to be repeacted over and over again. This activity has real meaning as it is a task based on and relevent to what the students have to do it the classroom. In my opinion, this is an ideal example of how imprtant context can be when teaching English to children in Thailand .
Adult learners could also benefit from this type of activity. My students at Udon Thani Rajabhat University are already doing this, and as I have just found out so is Lucky .
Summary
Mamy students find it difficult to learn English because teachers often do not present the language in situations relevant to students.
Personal Response
Title this, talk about Education English language in Thailand .
I think ,it true because students in Thailand not so good to listen or speak English language .And I hope , the government in Thailand can be help how to take care Education English language for primary school by give some equipment, book, toys about how to know English basic . And teachers must present the language in situations relevant to students too.

The Starfish
(@^__^@) The Starfish (@^__^@)

Summary :
This story talks about a man who saw a youth pick up a starfish and heave it back into the sea. He noticed and asked the youth the purpose of the effort. The youth replied that the tide has washed the starfish onto the beach and they could not return to the sea. When the sun rises, they will die, unless he throws them back to the sea. The man countered that there are more starfish on this beach and young man cannot expect to make a difference. The youth paused, bent to pick up a starfish, threw it as far as possible, and said that he made a difference to that one.
My response :
After I read the story, I think, everything can be different, if we just start doing. In the present, people tend to ignore the problems that doesn’t related to them or maybe they think it’s not their problems. I wish people change their attitudes and be more attentively care everything in our society. Don't just think or speak on and on.
If everybody helps each other, this world will be more beautiful.
